Picture Time! |

|
“Woody” Wood was kind enough to assist
me at the pad, sliding the SAAB onto the rail (left), and stabilizing things
(including the nerves) while I armed the electronics (right.) Tony Alcocer was also a big help, filming
at this point, and later doing tracking. |

… 3, 2, 1, Launch! |
Going… |
Still Going… |
Still Going… |
||||
|
Still Going… |
Still Going… |
Gone. |
And the Chute! |
||||
|
The Rocket Gods were shining on my
rocket today. |
The Aerocon parachute was in full glory
with the Aerocon pilot chute taking a nap on top. |
The low altitude charges were not
needed, but added drama. |

|
Touch Down! (is that 6 points?) |
The chute repacked it’s self. |
And all is well back on the ground 3.96
miles from the launch pad. |
